Julian Lemon

Julian is currently studying Master of Architecture at the University of Minnesota. He joined YSM in 2010.

When Julian first started college as a freshman, he had a different idea of how his career would turn out: "I used to be an art major at Clemson University. When I was on the summer orientation for my freshman year, art and architecture shared the same building. I saw the drawings and was amazed. During the tour of the building, I decide to change majors."

Julian has been impressed by how much he's learned at YSM and the team's willingness to teach what it knows: "Compared to other firms, the people here have more experience and take time to pass that down. Everyone here is personable, supportive and though we all work hard, we like to have fun too."

Julian is especially passionate about any project that has a sustainable aspect to it and he hopes that the industry will soon make these practices standard. "I enjoy all the projects we do and finding ways to make them better and the client happy."
